Our Clinic Services and History
ECHO Clinic is a non-profit medical clinic that provides free healthcare services to uninsured and low-income individuals. Our clinic is run entirely by volunteers and donations, and we are proud to be a faith-based organization. We strive to provide compassionate care to all of our patients, regardless of their financial situation.
Recently we have changed our practice and operations and since have partnered with Boston Mountain Rural Health Center. Our goal is to continue assisting those in need with an annual ECHO MASH Clinic. See below for more details.
History:
Since 2005 Echo clinic has been trying to meet the health needs of the community. 3000 individual patients have received greater than 10,000 patient visits, free laboratory and x-ray services, and free medication. In addition, counseling and social work services and diabetic education have been provided. Dental services, optometry care, and free eyeglasses have been made available to many. When the Covid pandemic struck in 2020, Echo was the first to obtain vaccinations for the community. Over 4000 immunizations were given in a drive-through clinic. As long as able, Echo clinic stands ready to meet the healthcare needs in the community, as a safety net, that make sure no one falls through the cracks.

OUR UPCOMING EVENTS
ECHO Clinic will host an all-day free clinic for the community on Saturday, July 13, 2024. The clinic will be called the ECHO MASH Clinic, which stands for “May All Stay Healthy”. It is an obvious spin off the famous old TV series MASH (Mobile Army Surgical Hospital). The ECHO MASH Clinic will emphasize preventive care and wellness, and hopes to reach those in the community that are not receiving healthcare. The clinic will start at 9:00 a.m. and the last patient will be scheduled at 4:00 p.m. Medical, dental, and optometry care will be provided at no cost. Boston Mountain Rural Health Clinic is collaborating with ECHO, and will provide free X-ray and laboratory work as needed to provide thorough health evaluations. The clinic is for those with no medical insurance, and whose income is less than 135% of the Federal Poverty level ($20,000 per year for an individual, $27,000 for a couple, or $42,000 for a family of 4).

The clinic will be staffed by Dr. Jon Loudermilk, Dr. Greg Kresse, Dr. John Nash, John Hutchcroft, Sheila Howerton, Michael Murphy, Dr. Stuart Zimmerman and Dr. Dan Bell. Dr Ken Covington will provide dental care, Dr. Jim Dudley, and Dr. Andy Langston will provide optometry care. These providers bring a total of 400 years of patient experience to serve the community.
